A great way to start the day

This wont be a lengthy post today - I'm mostly going to reveal the Transformer I'm saying farewell to and be done (although the keen eye will notice that the figure was revealed yesterday though the auctions listings). But I just wanted to take a moment to say first how much I've enjoyed getting the week started with the Tuesday morning prayer meetings (yes I know that for most of your the week starts on Monday but I digress). It's only been two weeks so far but those gatherings have set the tone for the week to come and I have been tremendously blessed. I'd like to take the opportunity to encourage you once again to get involved in corporate prayer at the church too - whether it's joining us on Tuesdays at 7:30am or it's attending Abraham's on Monday nights or even getting involved with the pre-service prayer time on Sunday mornings around 9am. We can't move forward unless we're first united in prayer. Something for you to think about as your go about your day.

Today's figure is one of the only remaining MOSC (mint on sealed card) in my collection (for someone who really enjoys not just collecting but also playing with his transformers it's hard to leave them in the package). The only reason that it's stayed this way is that my brother Keegan was shopping with me when I bought it a couple years ago and he bought the same figure and opened it - so I got to play with his and keep mine sealed. This is Revenge of the Fallen Sideswipe. He was the cool new character that debuted in the second movie based on the new concept Corvette Stingray that got heavily featured in the opening action sequence and then promptly disappeared into the background while the "twins" (Jar Jar Binks in robot form and doubled) got all the screen time for the new Autobots. He's a cool looking car and a very cool looking robot and thankfully he's back in the next film - although he's decided to go topless for the next installment (he's now a convertible). I was holding onto him because of his unopened status - but now he's out the door and will hopefully fetch more than retail in return on the auction block.

Until tomorrow,
Chris
